I love working on pieces that can exist in a space with people and be used imaginatively, whether it’s holding books, to be sat on, or to just simply exist as a beautiful object. I enjoy letting the process be intuitive and natural feeling. The process is slow and I think that makes the outcome more interesting and unique. I also think it’s so cool that in many cultures, chairs can be made from the most inventive objects that were laying around. It is in a way, a sort of silent protest to perfection in deign and the fast moving world of technological efficiency.
